Meaningful Monday 1

Quote for the Day: "I do not believe that sheer suffering teaches. If suffering alone taught, all the world would be wise, since everyone suffers. To suffering must be added mourning, understanding, patience, love, openness and the willingness to remain vulnerable."
- Joseph Addison

Todays Meaningfulness:
Did you know that lying by omission is still lying? This means that if you leave out any part of the truth, at least if directly questioned, you might as well be lying. That's why in court, you have to "swear to tell the truth, the WHOLE truth, and nothing but the truth..." Remember though, this doesnt mean that there are not things better left unsaid. ie: "your spray tan makes you look orange" not a good thing to tell someone; just leave it alone. But when somebody asks you a question, answer it honestly and completely.

Meaningful Scripture:
These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other, and render true and sound judgment in your courts; do NOT plot evil against your neighbor, and do NOT love to swear falsely. I hate all this," declares the LORD.
-Zechariah 8:16-17

Never pretend to be something you're not.
Never stop smiling.
